Job Description
Construction Labourers:
Duties include carrying materials, loading and unloading trucks, assisting carpenters, landscaping, jobsite cleanup, etc.
Framing and Formwork Carpenters:
Duties include all aspects of wood frame construction, setting wood trusses, steel stud and drywall application, concrete formwork, installation of various types of siding and sloped roofing, etc.
Finish Carpenters:
Duties include application of wood trims, hanging wood and hollow metal doors, installation of hardware, building and setting cabinetry, installation of manufactured specialties, installation of wood stairs, etc.
Heavy Equipment Operators:
Duties include common excavation and backfilling, utility trenching, finish grading, landscaping, and snow removal.
Equipment operators are expected to carry out general maintenance and perform tasks safely and efficiently on a variety of machines; including excavators, backhoes, bulldozers, compaction rollers, loaders, mobile crane and heavy trucks.
Production Operators:
The position(s) are located in Waterville, NS.
Involves working a rotating 12 hour shift pattern. This includes working weekends.
Many of the posts are physically demanding and require that you perform repetitive tasks.
You may have to work in a hot environment.
The position offers competitive pay rates with shift premium.
All positions are based on an open term assignment.
You would be eligible to apply for medical benefits after 3 months of employment.
You will be required to purchase safety footwear.
You would be working in a team environment, striving to meet safety, quality and productivity specifications.
You may be required to work from a planned schedule, keep records and complete documentation.
